Greenway Releases Interim Financial Results

KINGSVILLE, ON, Feb 24, 2022 /CNW/ – Greenway Greenhouse Cannabis Corporation (CSE: GWAY) (“Greenway” or the “Company”), a cultivator of high-quality greenhouse cannabis for the Canadian market, is pleased to announce the release of its unaudited interim financial statements for the three and nine month periods ending December 31, 2021 and to report positive Adjusted EBITDA(1) for the second consecutive quarter.

A copy of the unaudited interim financial statements for the three and nine months ending December 31, 2021 prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the related Management’s Discussion and Analysis are available under the Company’s profile on www.sedar.com. All amounts expressed in this press release refer to Canadian dollars.

The Company is pleased to report the following results for the three months ended December 31, 2021 and that it has achieved positive Adjusted EBITDA(1) for such period:

  • Completed a private placement financing of units consisting of common shares and warrants for aggregate gross proceeds of $8,000,000 for the purpose of expanding both the cultivation and nursery facilities.
  • Generated cannabis revenue of $1,186,186, a 2.5% increase from the previous quarter.
  • The cost of sales was $958,924 resulting in a gross margin before inventory impairment and fair value adjustments of 19.2%
  • Greenway has had two consecutive quarters producing a positive Adjusted EBITDA.
  • Greenway cannabis can be found in five provinces
